Warmer weather for the 2007 season has come and gone. Although a number of items were completed on the list, the list continues -- now that the 2.4 GHz system is on-line, we can re-assess needs and re-evaluate the list. If you're interested in participating in the expansion of the system, I'd encoruage your visit to the Work Party forum, available to Members.
Some items on the list: Cosmopolis Weed whack around building to clear potential fire fuel;
Spread defoliant in the cleared zones around buildings to keep fire fuel at bay long-term;
Install new battery backup at site;
Fill in drive-way area to deal with erosion that's cropped up; Prep for paint; Paint; Repairs to propane generator;
Repairs to generator switch system;
Switch over to new generator after repairs are completed;
Install 5.8 GHz & 2.4 GHz data link on tower Nielton Point Weed whack around building to clear potential fire fuel;
Spread defoliant in the cleared zones around building to keep fire fuel at bay, long-term;
Remove a couple left-behind antennas from prior tenants;
Clear some debris from ground left behind by prior tenants;
Roof repairs;
Paint exterior;
