Bill Steward, N7TCD, is the first guinea-pig to get a generator up and on-line at his station. Using a 12v PMA from HydrogenPower.com, and a 12v 800 Amp-hour battery package, Bill's experimenting with a few items in his quest to have a stand-alone power generation system. (Bill - let's get some pix, and spend some time editing this to explain what you've done so far, where things stand, etc.)

SHARES will run a separate, but parallel event on Field Day. From 1800Z to 2100Z this coming Saturday, our voice national net controls will be monitoring the SHARES primary frequency and taking your check-ins from all SHARES members.
